Spring 2025 Half & Full Marathon Training

One thing we know is this: running and local beer go hand in hand. We are here to bring that experience together for you!

Come join the most social run club in Cincinnati! The BrewRunners of Cincinnati are distance runners with a passion for inclusivity, our lovely city, and our local, craft beer scene. Socializing is just as important to us as the running! All skill levels (paces) are welcome.

This spring, we are offering a 15-week half marathon training program and a 17-week full marathon training program. Both training programs will culminate with us racing the Flying Pig in Cincinnati on Sunday, May 4th.

Half & Full Marathon Training

Program Details

Half Marathon Training

  • 15-week training program
  • Start Date: January 25, 2025
  • Goal Race: Flying Pig Half Marathon (Sunday, May 4, 2025)*
  • Group runs are held twice a week at local breweries (Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM and Saturdays @ 9:00 AM)

Cost: $75

Full Marathon Training

  • 17-week training program
  • Start Date: January 6, 2025
  • Goal Race: Flying Pig Full Marathon (Sunday, May 4, 2025)*
  • Group runs are held twice a week at local breweries (Wednesdays @ 6:30 PM and Saturdays @ 9:00 AM or earlier)**

Cost: $75

*Registration fee for the Flying Pig is not included.

**Saturday runs for full marathon training will start at varying times depending on the distance of our run that morning. The latest a run would start will be 9:00 AM. The majority of our Saturday runs will start between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM.

***Registered runners will receive a copy of the week by week training schedule one week prior to our start date.

Something For Everyone

So you’re a runner who likes to toss back a few local beers? Or maybe a beer drinker who’s thinking about taking up running? Either way, you’ll fit right in.

We’re a running group, that’s true…but we’re mostly a get together and have fun group. You don’t have to PR every race or even run a race at all. Just come hang out and have fun!
